Guidelines for Senior Lecturers in Theatre and Dance
To be considered for the Senior Lecturer position, in addition to the criteria listed in the faculty handbook, (3.13.4), the faculty member must turn the following materials at least one week before the DPC meets:
- Current Vitae
- A two page application letter summarizing evidence of excellence in teaching, service contributions to the department/ university, and/or evidence of creative/scholarly activities within the department.
Additional materials may include:
- Examples of teaching mentorship beyond the typical classroom expectations
- Teaching Philosophy
The DPC will consider applications based on the submitted materials, peer evaluations, student evaluations, annual performance evaluations and self-evaluations from the previous 3 years.
