Kristin Grieneisen is elated to be landing back at “home” in NC, and is looking very forward to joining the Department of Theatre & Dance here at Appalachian State!
Kristin grew up in Charlotte, and discovered theater, costumes, and the man who would eventually become her husband all while attending NC State University in Raleigh. She graduated in 2008, and then went on to complete her Masters of Fine Art in Costume Design & Technology from Ohio University in 2013. Career highlights since graduating include working for Cirque du Soleil’s “Zarkana” in Las Vegas, Moscow Ballet’s touring “Great Russian Nutcracker”, and as Cutter/Draper in UC Santa Barbara’s Department of Theater & Dance from 2014-2017."
