I.G. Greer Studio Theatre Request

The primary use of the studio theatre is for academic and co-curricular instruction by the Department of Theatre and Dance.

Other requests for use of I.G. Greer should be made to Kevin Warner, Department Chair, or Matt Tyson, Department Technical Director.

Usage fee structures are listed below. 

Internal (ASU) Groups

ASU academic departments and approved student groups.

Fees:

  • No rental fees.

  • Key-holder fee of $12/hour (three hour minimum).

    • Due to costly equipment housed in the space, we ask all groups to pay an hourly rate for a key-holder to be with you while you use the space.

    • Key-holders are experienced students who have been trained on facility equipment and usage guidelines by our technical director.

    • The key-holder unlocks the facility,  provides general lighting using the existing light plot, and secures the space at the conclusion of the event.

External Groups

Groups not associated with ASU.

Fees:

  • Rental

    • Rental fees for I. G. Greer Studio Theatre begin at $25/hour.

  • Key-holder fee of $12/hour (three hour minimum).

    • Key-holders are experienced students who have been trained on facility equipment and usage guidelines by our technical director.

Proof of Liability:

  • External organizations are required to provide proof of a $1,000,000 liability insurance policy, and may be subject to university rules for box office use.
