Why are some major’s classes only scheduled in Spring/Fall?
The department makes every effort to offer classes for students on an as needed basis. Due to class sizes and budgetary constraints, there are some classes for majors that are offered only once a year or in alternate years only, in order to give the maximum diversity of offerings for our students. This necessitates that you plan your schedule carefully with your advisor, and adhere to your plan in order to graduate on time. The University reserves the right to cancel any course for which there is insufficient enrollment.
